Are you an Overnight Oats fan? I know I sure am. It’s my morning obsession at the moment.
Being the first one at the crack of dawn, I tend wake up hungry. I drink my lemon water, makes some green tea, I grab a jar, and eat. Overnight oats for breakfast has become a meal that I can eat regularly. As long as I can change up the flavors, the chances of me getting tired of eating it is much less.
Why do I love overnight oats:
Quick and easy to make. Takes me less that 10 minutes prepare the night before.
It’s nutritions. A healthy breakfast packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber and protein.
It’s a simple grab and go meal that can easily be transported anywhere.
Layer the following ingredients:
Put the top on and close it tight.
Place in the fridge overnight
- 1/4 Cup Oatmeal
- 1 Tablespoon Chia seeds
- 1/4 Cup Greek Yogurt
- 1/3 Cup Almond Milk
- 1/4 Cup Applesauce
- Dash of Cinnamon (More or less is up to you)
- Layer all the ingredients
- Put the top on and close it tight
- Place in the fridge overnight
- In the morning, get a spoon
- Grab your Jar
- Mix the ingredients
- **Add Honey for sweetener
