Banana Nut Blueberry Oatmeal + Introducing Oatmeal Week

I’m excited to bring to you….

Oatmeal Week!!

That’s right! A weeks worth of oatmeal recipes from my kitchen to yours! Plus, a few facts about some of the tasty ingredients.

Why oatmeal you ask?

Where I live in California, there is a shortage of eggs at the moment. Eggs use to cost me about $9.00 for 5 1/2 dozen at my local grocery store. Then, in just a matter of weeks, the price went up to $17.00 for the same amount of eggs. As much as my family and I eat and cook with eggs, the high price for them was just not going to cut it for us.

So, for the last few weeks, I have switched up our morning breakfasts. We have been eating oatmeal like it’s going out of style. I experimented with some different ingredients. Making a few new flavors to inspire my tastebuds, and feed my family.

Let me kick off this week’s delicious oatmeal series with a recipe for my Banana Nut Blueberry Oatmeal.
