I’ve shared how I made my awesome tree stand. Now, I wanted to share a couple of my favorite decorating ideas that I have used in the past. Inexpensive ideas that you can easily do in the comfort of you own home for little to no cost.
I’ve been making Present Props for a few years now. I love that it adds a bit of fun to my front door. This decorating idea is so easy that it really doesn’t need any instructions. However, I’m just going to go ahead, and share them with you anyway.
You Will Need:
- Boxes (As many or as little as you want, different sizes)
- Wrapping Paper
Step 1: Wrap you boxes up like presents.
Step 2: Decorate them with bows and ribbons
Step 3: Place outside your front door, or around your home.
That is it! A piece of cake, right?
I know you have seen ornament wreaths all over the internet. I made my first one a few years back, and loved how it turned out. Just a few weeks ago, I went to retrieve my wreath from my garage, and right when I grabbed it of the it’s hook, I dropped it, and it broke. I was devastated. Hubby seen what had happened, and joked that I had broke it on purpose so that I could have a reason to craft, and make a new one 😀 I promise you, that was not my intention. However, I am known for always trying to find an excuse or reason to create something new. Having my old wreath broken, is the perfect reason to make new and improved one.
You will need:
- Ornament Balls
- Foam ring
- Hot Glue
- Pines cones, flowers, snowflakes, or anything else you may want to add to your wreath.
- Ribbon or Bow
Step 1: Hot glue your ornaments and other small decorations pieces onto your foam right.
Step 2: Let it dry
Step 3: Hang it!
