A few months back, just before Valentine’s Day, I was working on these decorations below.
Everyone loved them, and complemented them. Some even asked me if I could make a few vases for their home. I figured, instead of me making them for my friends, I can just share how I made them myself. They are so easy to make, inexpensive, and a fun way to liven up any room or event.
You Will Need:
- Candle Stick Holder
- Super Glue (or any type of strong adhesive)
- Time and Patience
- Fillers (Marbles, sand, sticks, Christmas Balls, Pine cones, a candle, etc)
Step 1: Wash all of your glassware, carefully.
Step 2: Once dry, Place your vase upside down.
Step 3: Put glue around the top edges of the candle stick.
Quickly place the candlestick holder upside, onto the vase. Center it, and let it dry for at least 24 hours. Place a book on it to keep it candle stick holder from moving. If you have a table that is slanted, you may want to check on it periodically to make sure it didn’t move around too much.
You now have your very own vases that doesn’t cost you more that a few bucks to make. $1 for the vase, $1 for the candlestick holder, $1 for the super glue. Can’t be that price for something that could potentially be some gorgeous to beautify your home.
I used green and white rocks that I found at the Dollar Store as fillers for these vases.
I then added some fake flowers. I love the way this came out!
I added sand and some black rock that I bought from the dollar store and used them as fillers for these vases.
For this vases decoration, I used fake moss, birds nests, and a couple of fake birds to fill these little vases.
Super cute, right?
