My table was looking quite bare, and I wanted something will a little flare.
See how I did that 😉
I am currently working on putting together a trivet table runner. The sewing is taking me a bit longer than I had planned, and I wanted some quick and easy to make for my table.
So, off to the Dollar Store I went to be inspired. For some reason, when I’m in the store, I like to go up and down each aisle and try to figure out what my next project will be. Sometimes I stop at a item, and stare at it while I’m thinking. I know to others walking by, I probably look crazy standing in the aisles daydreaming. My best ideas come from brainstorming in the store. It’s what works for me!
While daydreaming, I did come across some foam door hangers that looked pretty cool. I grabbed a few, and decided to see what I can come up with.
I just thought about using the door hangers as placemats. After moving them around on the table, I just so happened to put them in a row, and my table runner was born!
This craft is so simple. Anyone, crafty or not, can make this super easy table runner!
You Will Need:
- 3- 4 Front Door Hangers (Found at the Dollar Store)
- Hot Glue Gun
I just simply glued the ends together, and you are done!
That’s it! Nothing More, Nothing Less!
This took me a little under 5 minutes, and costed about $5.00 to make.
