Rainbow Park

Made it to a new park today. I researched all of the parks that had water features and found Rainbow park not too far from where we stay.

I packed up the girls and we were on a mission.

We get to the park, and the first thing we noticed is NO water features. We searched around the park with no success. What a bummer considering it was posted on their website that there were two features.

Other than that bit of a mishaps, it still ended up being a nice park. It’s located off of Prospect Rd. and Johnson Ave. Between a middle and a high school.

It’s the quietest park I have ever been too. Barely any people there.

There are two playgrounds that are decent sized.

One for the big kids

And one for the little ones, with a sand pit of course

I like that all of table and benches surrounding the playground are under trees and in the shade. The bathrooms are close to the playgrounds too.

The park itself is a huge one

Big enough to play football, soccer, or even volleyball.

Thinking about having a BBQ? The park is full equipped to with a BBQ area that has many grills, a big work station, and a sink.

There is also a big seating area. Great for parties!

Rainbow Park is a good park, minus the false advertisement on the water feature. It’s definitely worth giving this park a try.
