Fitness Challenges

School is starting back up next week. This means I can focus a little more on my exercising. I love exercising. It’s a great way to release stress. Mid day, if I get tired, instead of getting coffee, I do some exercises to wake myself up. I have been doing Bootcamp since January. I have Zumba Core at home, and I am runner.

In the middle of all that, I have tired a couple of challenges. I love to find an exercise and challenging myself. There is something about setting a goal and accomplishing it that gives me great joy. When I finish a challenge I try to find ways to incorporate the exercise into my daily routine.

squat

This was the first challenge I did. While doing these squats, I had bootcamp and we do lot of leg exercises at camp. My legs felt like spaghetti all month. When the numbers got high I would break the squats up throughout the day. You should have seen me squatting in the middle of cooking dinner. My family got a kick out of it that’s for sure. My husband said he could see the results during the second week of this challenge. After 30 days I could see what hard work can result too. When I was done I continued doing 100 squat 3 days week. I’m thinking about starting this challenge over again but making the number higher at the end.

30-Day-Plank-Challenge

I love planking!! Great exercise for the core. When I started this plank challenge I had already been doing the plank during bootcamp. My day 1 start at 2 minutes and I worked my way up to 3 minutes by adding 10-20 second every couple of days. I going to admit that I didn’t finish this challenge. I stopped due to becoming lazy. I plan to start over on this challenge though. I want to see if I can make it to 5 minutes. That will be my goal!

The following Challenges are ones I haven’t tired yet but are on my to do list.

pushup

ab-challenge

Do you exercise? Would you try one of these challenges?
