While checking my mail last week, I came across an email from the lovely people over at One Kings Lane. They asked me if I wanted to participate in their “Tray Chic” campaign. I recently have been getting into decorating with trays after seeing a few inspirations here and there. So I decided to join in on the campaign.
Trays can be used for all sorts of things. To hold your keys, your jewelry, and even your make up. You can serve a meal to someone, or use it to spruce up your home with your favorite decor pieces.
I came across this brown tray that I found at a local bargain store. Me being who I am, I was thinking of a way to make this tray useful. I had envisioned something fun and pretty sitting on display, on my nightstand.
I got some spray paint, and went to town. Painting this beautiful shade of blue. Gloss Brilliant Blue from Rust-Oleum To be exact.
In case you hadn’t noticed, blue is definitely my favorite color.
I added a few of my favorite things like my wedding rings, and my little glass box with hubby and I’s faces etched inside of it.
I love how it all came together. I enjoy looking over at it when I open my eyes in the morning.
