My Mommy’s Macaroni and Cheese

Growing up, this dish right here was a family favorite and only came out during special occasions. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter wasn’t complete without my Mommy’s Mac and Cheese. This creamy macaroni is topped with a perfect crust of cheesy goodness. With just the right amount of salt and pepper it gets your taste buds dancing. That is just how good this dish is. Now that I have a family of my own this recipe has become one of our family favorite. The only difference is that I cooked it more often than just on the holidays. More like twice a month.

Over the years I have became more conscious of what I am feeding my family. I realized that the ingredients I was using wasn’t good for them. Here I will share the old fashion way of making this family favorite. I will later post a healthier version that I hope your family will love.
